The mechanical engineering department of IES college of engineering provides quality education and industry oriented training. Our mission is to mould the students with all inputs necessary to become a successful mechanical engineer. Our department consists of 2 lecturers and 6 faculties assisting in the workshop. The workshop is headed by the foreman. He is ably assisted by 5trade instructors for various sections like carpentry, machine shop, sheet metal, fitting and welding. All the faculties working in the department are well qualified and experienced The workshop consists of various machines like drilling, grinder, shaper milling, Power hacksaw, shearing, welding machines and various other tools required to conduct workshop for first years. We further have plans to upgrade the existing facilities so as to cater to the requirements of the present day. With our team work and dedication we hope that our department will raise to the expectation of one and all.
