The present age demands Mechanical Engineering specialists who have the capacity of adaptability and creativity in the new technical areas. Mechanical Engineers should have knowledge not only in their own specialized fields but also in wide interdisciplinary fields as well. To meet the above requirements Mechanical Engineering department offers the UG course in Mechanical Engineering. Curriculum of this course is designed to meet current industrial requirements with an emphasis on industrial interaction and applied engineering.

There is also a strong tutorial system which provides students with a point of contact with a member of staff who can also advise on any welfare issues. Additional training is imparted to students on personality development and other soft-skills relevant to industry needs.
