At the root of any science or engineering is an instrument
that measures, manipulates, stores that information or controls a
process. The extraordinary developments taking place in areas
like Communication, Space, Medicine, Defence, Petrochemical
etc. open up large number of opportunities for engineers
specializing in Electronics and Instrumentation. This program
aims to produce quality engineers with knowledge of the latest trends and developments that are required for the ongoing
technological revolution.
In view of the requirements of the industry and other R & D organizations, the curriculum is designed to give due emphasis on mathematics, Electronics, (Analog & Digital), Microprocessors & Microcontrollers, Transducers Fiber Optics, Computer Programming, Computer Aided Process Control & Automation, and latest Instrumentation techniques. PLC, LABVIEW, Matlab are also taught in detail.
