                         Fifty percent of the total seats are reserved for candidates through management quota and 50% through government quota. Admission to management quota seats are regulated by merit assessed in the Engineering Entrance Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations and any other criteria specified by the government.

                        For admissions in the academic year 2007-2008, the field applications must reach the college on or before 16^th June 2008 along with a DD for Rs.250/- towards cost of application form and processing fee.

                   Eligibility

                         1.      Minimum age of 17 years.

             2.     Pass in Higher Secondary Examination with 50% marks for    Mathematics     separately, 50% marks for Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics together.

             3.     Diploma in Engineering awarded by the Board of Technical Examinations or equivalent, with minimum of 50% marks.

                         Relaxation in marks               

                       1. Candidates belonging to Socially and Educationally backward classes and    with a total annual family income not exceeding 2.5 lakhs will have a relaxation of    5% marks.

                      2.  SC/ST candidates and persons with disabilities need only a pass in the            qualifying examination.

                       3. Candidates who have passed qualifying examination from outside the state of Kerala shall produce the certificate of recognition and equivalency from any  one of the universities in Kerala at the time of personal appearance during the CAP.

                       INSTRUCTIONS FOR FILLING THE APPLICATION FORM

                       Note : Please read the information brochure carefully before filling up the application form. Please do not send back the instruction sheet or information brochure along with the filled-in application. Affix one passport size photograph attested by a Gazetted officer.

1. Name of the Applicant : Write your name in CAPITAL letters as given in the records of the Secondary School Examination.

Address : Complete postal address with name of district and pin code to be given.

Specify Telephone Number if any.

2. Date of Birth : Write in the order of Date, Month and Year. Eg: If you were born on 9^th April 1986, write 09-04-1986 In Words also.

3. Name of Parent/Guardian : Please give the name of father or mother. Guardian’s name to be given only if parents are not alive. Please also write the income of your parent/guardian.

4. Select appropriate nativity – tick if keralite.

5. Give details if you are seeking admission in RI quota- specify Name of NRI, Occupation and Relationship with applicant.

6. Details of Qualifying Examination.

7. Choice of courses in order of priority.

8. Details of kerala Engineering Entrance Examinations- Reg no, Marks awarded, Rank above will be rejected.

Applications found incomplete and defective with respect to any of the items mentioned above will be rejected.
